The devastated husband of a nurse who died after contracting coronavirus whispered "don't worry about the kids" in her final moments.
Emotional tributes have been paid to hero medic Areema Nasreen, who was just 36 when she was killed by the deadly bug. Areema's sister Ash, 31, told how NHS staff urged the tragic nurse's husband not to hug her "because of the virus, the Daily Mirror reports.
But Ash said he was with his wife in her final moments as he spoke to her about their three children. She told the Sun: "Areema was on the ventilator and just before she died, her husband said to her 'don't worry about the kids'. "She started to cry.
