Hero NHS nurse Areema Nasreen dies from coronavirus with 'no health problems'

NHS nurse Areema Nasreen has died from coronavirus, her family said. Ms Nasreen, 36, had developed a temperatures, body aches and a cough before she was placed on a ventilator.

The mum-of-three's sister said she was "fit and healthy" before the diagnosis with no underlying conditions. It is understood she died in the early hours of this morning.

A relative told Birmingham Live: "The immediate family are devastated. Everyone is in shock this morning. "She was always so full of life.

She was devoted to her job as a nurse, she absolutely loved it. She passed away doing what she loved. "I'm really sad for the rest of the family, she was a fantastic person." It was reported that when she fell ill she did not have any underlying health problems.
