One bride-to-be shares how she celebrated her non-wedding day in lockdown I should have been getting married on 28th March 2020.

Two years of planning our spring wedding in Marrakesh should have come to fruition; my fiancé and I should have been surrounded by friends and family, dancing the night away.

However, like all the brides and grooms-to-be of spring 2020, we had to postpone our wedding due to the coronavirus crisis. Instead, locked down in London, I have been surrounded by items which serve as a constant reminder of what could have been.

As an American expat living in the UK, I have a closet stuffed with various clothes from a previous existence - the bounty of coats that helped me survive New York’s brutal winters, for one.
