Indicators for Covid-19 in Ireland now reducing or stable

Most of the indicators for Covid-19 in Ireland are now reducing or stable, the latest figures show. The overall situation is significantly improving, compared with the situation even a few weeks ago.

Last night, the Health Service Executive put the number of patients in hospital at 104, a reduction of 20 cases. Of these, 32 patients are in intensive care, a figure that is relatively stable.

There are just two hospitals in the country now with ten or more cases of the disease. The five-day moving average of cases is 425, while a week ago it was 489.
