NEW DELHI: Industry body Nasscom on Monday appointed Infosys' chief operating officer UB Pravin Rao as chairman for 2020-21, succeeding WNS Global Services Group CEO Keshav Murugesh.
It appointed Rekha Menon, chairman and senior MD of Accenture in India as the vice-chairperson. Both the appointments were announced at Nasscom's executive council meeting, conducted via video conference amid the 21-day lockdown announced by the Centre to contain the spread of covid-19.
The new leadership, along with President Debjani Ghosh, will help the industry work towards achieving its vision for 2025, boosting resilience, skilling the workforce, and accelerate the industry’s contribution towards the country’s economic growth.
