A mum is refusing to send her son back to school saying it 'will be like a prison' as measures are put in place to stop the spread of coronavirus.
Rosehill Methodist Primary Academy in Ashton, Tameside, has provided parents with a detailed outline of the changes children will face should they return in June.
Providing the transmission rate of the disease is low enough, the government wants to start with a phased return of pupils, starting with the ' key transition years ' of Reception, Year 1 and Year 6.
There has been widespread opposition to the plan from parents and teachers, many of whom have spoken about the difficulties of young children social distancing.
