On Tuesday night, ITV aired the second episode of Isolation Stories, following the first on Monday which featured Gavin and Stacey star Sheridan Smith.

The second of the 15 minute episodes left viewers feeling deflated though, as they watched a son struggle to help his dad who was sick with coronavirus.

The characters were played by real life father-son duo Robert and Tom Glenister, who are self-isolating in the same household during lockdown.

And despite the mini episode having an uplifting undertone, many viewers took to Twitter to share their dislike of the series.
