Jan Vertonghen is considering an offer from Real Betis as the queue of clubs trying to sign him grows. The Tottenham defender is out of contract this summer and widely expected to leave, with the club already scouring the market for a centre back.
Italian sides Roma and Inter Milan have both expressed an interest in signing Vertonghen, along with Spanish outfit Valencia.
But ambitious Betis have now offered the 33-year-old a two-year contract after holding extensive talks with his representatives.
The La Liga club have watched Vertonghen several times this season and despite his age believe he still has plenty left in the tank.
