Janey Godley has given fans a determined health update after confirming last week that her cancer has returned. The Scots comedian says she'll "keep going till I can't" after announcing last Tuesday that recent tests showed signs of the disease in her abdomen.
Janey, who restarted chemotherapy on Thursday, also opened up about the emotional toll the news has had on her.She added: "I will tell you what gets me, waking up from a great dream and realising I still have cancer and so many treatments to go through and knowing my life expectancy is cut short- the feeling is like a someone dropping a brick on your chest."Last week, Janey said she is determined to get back on stage so her upcoming Not Dead Yet Tour will still go ahead, but she added it might be the last time she is able to perform live.On Friday, she took to Twitter to say 'karmic revenge isn't true' and asked people to be kind to themselves after revealing she has received messages from people who claim she deserves to have incurable cancer due to her past offensive tweets. But the 61-year-old has been inundated with messages of love and support - many from the world of showbiz - and says she's been left in tears reading them all.Get the latest celebrity gossip and telly news sent straight to your inbox.
