Jet2 delays date flights will restart in new statement

Jet2.com have pushed back the date of when it is set to recommence its programme.The operator released a statement on Monday (June 8) to say they had taken the decision to recommence operations on July 15 2020.All bookings scheduled to depart before this date would now be cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.Jet2 had said just last week that it would had taken the decision to recommence operations on July 1 after initially setting a date of June 17.But tonight a statement from Jet2 said: "In view of the ongoing travel restrictions that are in place as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have taken the decision to recommence our flights and holidays programme on July 15th."Customers who were due to travel before July 15th do.
