Jet2 is advising passengers against wearing face masks when flights resume in July. This is in contrast to Ryanair, which has made face coverings mandatory, and to Easyjet, which is recommending them.
A statement on the Jet2 website states: "Public Health England (PHE) advises against using masks outside clinical settings. "PHE state that if you’re fit and well, with no symptoms, there’s no evidence that wearing face masks as a general prevention measure is helpful."
