Corrie legend Julie Hesmondhalgh is hoping people will appreciate the 'simpler way of life' after emerging from lockdown. Julie, who played Hayley Cropper in Corrie and stars in the BBC drama The A Word, says people may be pushed to spend again as the coronavirus lockdown measures have restricted what we can spend money on due to shops being shut.
But she's hoping they'll resist consumerism and continue to look after the nature around them which may have been hidden before due to noise and traffic.
Julie told us: "The skies have been clearer and I hope people will remember that. "This has been a little taste of how quickly it heals.
