Jurgen Klopp sets "maximum" target for Liverpool as Reds boss begins to eye next season

Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool will do all they can to pick up maximum points from their remaining nine matches of the season in order to head into the next campaign with a spring in their step.

With the Reds just two wins away from a first top-flight title in 30 years, the coronavirus crisis put the brakes on a season which had seen them win 27 of their 29 Premier League matches.

Manchester City's record 100-point haul is in the Reds' sights when the campaign can resume, but Klopp wants his team to go even further and win all of their remaining games, which would see them end with an incredible 109 points from an available 114. "We don't want to think that it (the title) will be done after a week.
