She got a very close bond with her stepchildren, who even helped former footballer Rio pop the question to her. And she says she's learned a lot during a very busy week, which saw Tate break his arm.

Kate marked the end of the first at-home school week by sharing a sweep snap Rio took of her walking through the woods as one of her stepson's threw a protective arm around her shoulder.

PHILADELPHIA - No one was injured after a gunman opened fire on a Philadelphia police officer during a shootout Wednesday afternoon in Germantown.Philadelphia Police Sergeant Eric Gripp told reporters that two plainclothes officers in an unmarked car were patrolling the 4800 block of Keyser Street around 2 p.m. when they came upon a shootout between a 23-year-old and a 20-year-old.
