Kate Garraway has given a poignant update on her husband Derek Draper - declaring her "heart sinks" as coronavirus gives him "more battles to fight".
The former lobbyist remains in a coma in hospital after being struck down with Covid-19 back in March. Kate, 53, headed outside to join the clap for carers last night, and posted a heartbreaking message on Instagram revealing Derek is still critically ill.
She expressed her hope that the easing of lockdown is a turning point for the country but insisted her own family's journey with the killer big is "far from over".
