Kate Garraway updated fans on husband Derek Draper's condition as he continues to battle coronavirus. The Good Morning Britain presenter, 53, says she refuses to give up hope that Derek will recover.
After taking part in tonight's Clap For Carers celebration alongside her children Darcey, 14, and Billy, 10, Kate took to Instagram to update her fans.
She told them Derek is "still here" and that "there is still hope" despite every day learning new ways that the virus is battling against him.
Derek is in a coma and has been in intensive care for seven weeks, and Kate says that despite everything they're going through, she's proud of the way her children have coped, and how they continue to show support for others.
