Kay Burley will not host her Sky News show today after breaking coronavirus rules, it's claimed. The presenter, 59, has admitted she "inadvertently broke the rules" while celebrating her upcoming 60th birthday over the weekend.

On Tuesday's episode of her show she will be replaced by Sarah Hewson, according to Talk Radio. Mirror Online has contacted Sky News for comment.

Kay issued an apology on Twitter on Monday evening after admitting that a call of nature saw her head into a restaurant after visiting a "Covid compliant" eatery.
