A Tenerife hotel boss has told Spanish league chief that the competition should be completed in the Canary Islands. ASHOTEL president Jorge Marichal has the head of the Spanish Federation José Luis Rubiales - a former Hamilton player - and the La Liga supremo Javier Tebas.
He has issued a letter to offer the Canary Islands as a venue for the remaining games, which would involve the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona descending on the popular holiday region.
