Lady Gaga’s One World: Together At Home special raised almost $128 million in the U.S. for the coronavirus relief fund.
The two-hour event, which featured remote performances from Gaga, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Lizzo and Taylor Swift, among others, was not planned as a fundraiser but Saturday night’s (April 18, 2020) big show inspired people across America to give. Gaga kicked off the special with a performance of Charlie Chaplin’s Smile and closed the show with an all-star rendition of The Prayer featuring Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli.
