All GP practices and many community pharmacies across Lanarkshire will be open as normal on the bank holiday this Friday, May 8.The holiday was moved from its usual Monday to mark this year’s 75th anniversary of VE Day, with public commemorations originally having been planned prior to the coronavirus restrictions.Health board officials say: “All communities across Lanarkshire will have access to a community pharmacy” on the holiday, with the list including nine in the Airdrie area, seven around Coatbridge and others in Bargeddie and Moodiesburn.A full list of all pharmacies open this Friday is available here.Craig Cunningham of South Lanarkshire health and social care partnership said: “We would like to thank all community pharmacy and GP
