Latest coronavirus infection rates across Greater Manchester as eight boroughs see rises

The weekly rates have fallen in two areas - Bury and Manchester. Oldham continues to have the rate in the region with 624.6 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending July 8, according to the latest data from Public Health England.

The lowest infection rate is in Bolton, where the rate is 323.8 cases per 100,000 people. In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 486.5 cases per 100,000 population.
