Bolton still has a significantly higher infection rate than anywhere else across the conurbation, at 355.1 cases per 100,000 people.
But it appears that targeted measures in the area including surge testing, and the vaccine rollout, may be starting to take effect.
Cases across other parts of the region are rocketing though, with five boroughs seeing a week-on-week increase of over 100 per cent.
