Mother-of-four Kitty died aged 94 at a nursing home after being ill for some months. It's believed Liam had every intention to make the journey from New York to Ballymena to lay her to rest amid the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the globe.

But the Taken main star appeared to have been unable to make the long trip for reasons unknown as there were no signs of him at the funeral, according to The Belfast Telegraph.
