Linda Lusardi has revealed she saw NHS staff with not enough PPE during her coronavirus battle. The former model, 61, was critical and left fighting for her life in intensive care, while her husband Sam Kane faced a similar experience after also testing positive for COVID-19.

With Linda being diagnosed pretty early on amid the pandemic, she was told by doctors that there was no guarantee she would survive and she had a traumatic 'final' chat with her husband.

Speaking on Sky News this afternoon, Linda thanked the NHS staff that saved her life as she spoke about the hardships they had to endure.

Linda explained that every NHS worker who entered her room had to strip from head to toe after leaving. She said: "They had so little.
