Linda Lusardi ‘wanted to die’ after her coronavirus ordeal became too much. The 61-year-old and husband Sam Kane tested positive for the condition last month, and were left fighting for their lives in hospital when symptoms worsened.

They are now well on the road to recovery, and back at their north London home with their family. But, speaking about what she went through, the Dancing On Ice star admitted there were times she felt so bad that she prayed for death. ‘It got to the stage where both of us were praying we wouldn’t wake up because it was so bad,’ she said.
