Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Linda Lusardi broke down today as she spoke of the moment she thought she’d die from coronavirus. The actress and former model’s life was left hanging in the balance after testing positive for COVID-19, and she feared she would not make it.

Linda, 61, spoke today on Good Morning Britain about her “absolutely horrendous” ordeal, of which she has now recovered. Her husband Sam Kane also tested positive for the virus, which has so far killed more than 6,000 people in the UK.

Through tears, she told hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid that she was grateful to be “one of the lucky ones” who came through it alive.
