Liverpool are set to resume team training sessions next week via video link as the league leaders aim to maintain their fitness levels for when the season resumes.

The coronavirus outbreak and social distancing guidelines mean that Premier League clubs have been unable to train as normal over the last fortnight.

Reds players have been set individual home workout programmes since Melwood Training Ground shut nearly two weeks ago. Each member of the squad was given a tailored regime to be carried out in home gyms and gardens, but the squad is set to be reunited over video link next week, according to the Daily Star.
