Liverpool 'open talks' with Barcelona over Ousmane Dembele loan-to-buy transfer

Liverpool have reportedly opened talks with Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele about a potential loan-to-buy agreement. The French star has struggled to fully establish himself at the Nou Camp since his big money move from Borussia Dortmund in 2017 and could be set to leave.

Off the field issues combined with several injury problems throughout his three years with the Catalan side means they appear to be losing patience.The 23-year-old, who became Barcelona’s second most expensive player ever when he was signed for an initial fee of £96.8million, has previously been linked with Liverpool.

And Football Insider claim the Reds are now interested in a loan-to-buy move and have opened talks with the Spanish champions.
