A man who calls himself "The Living Nostradamus" has unveiled his predictions for the new year - and it's apparently going to be eventful.According to self-proclaimed psychic Athos Salomé, 2024 is shaping up to be a "new chapter in human history" full of aliens, a robot rebellion and global catastrophe - but also hope. The Brazilian native claims to have predicted the World Cup final, Putin's Ukraine invasion, Queen Elizabeth's death and even the Coronavirus pandemic.

This year is said to be "utterly transformative" due to a slew of environmental disasters across the globe, as well as war and conflict. Not only that, he is adamant that humans will finally make contact with extra terrestrials in 2024, but it won't be down to an invasion.

Instead, he believes it will be through communication from “encrypted signals intercepted by a network of telescopes”.The 37-year-old also claims an “asteroid abundant with rich materials” is hurtling for earth and will land safely next year, sparking the new space race as countries fight to get their hands on it.

Apart from that, Salomé claims that AI will "awaken" and become self-aware - leading the way for a machine-led rebellion, the Mirror reports. When it comes to global conflicts, Salome claims its a "urgent reality" with World War Three being suddenly triggered by either an event in the South China Sea or a major cyber attack - with a fight between China and Russia descending into an all-out war.The Sun reports that if 2024 didn’t already look bleak - Salomé has warned of impending global catastrophe as natural disasters sweep the globe, and claims he knows where these will take place.
