Love Island could be filmed in the UK and be delayed by up to eight weeks, industry insiders warn. Coronavirus is proving a big headache for ITV bosses who are determined to make the brand's flagship reality show go ahead.
It was expected that the hit series, which aired a winter edition at the start of the year, would not go ahead this summer as a number of TV shows have been cancelled as the deadly bug continues to spread - including soaps EastEnders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
But now it seems that Love Island fans may have to adjust to a revamped version of the series and it may not be the sun-drenched setting of Spain.
