The number of people who have died after contracting the coronavirus in Scotland has risen to 985, it has been announced today.That is an increase of 70 from yesterday.In the Ayrshire and Arran region another 19 people have tested positive for coronavirus.The confirmation means that the total number of confirmed people with the deadly virus in the region has risen to 623.Data released by the Scottish Government also shows 121 residents are in hospital in the region, with 10 of those currently in intensive care.A total of 8,672 people have now tested positive in Scotland - a daily rise of 222.In this country 159 patients who tested positive were in intensive care last night.So far 41,699  tests have been conducted in Scotland with 33,027 of
