Olivia Buckland’s new job has been put on hold thanks to coronavirus. The Love Island star was set to fly to New York to beginning her exciting new role as a presenter.

It would mean being away from home for a while as she embarked on the career change. However the coronavirus pandemic put a spanner in her plans as the gig was postponed.

Olivia is spending lockdown at home with husband Alex Bowen, who she met on Love Island. She told Metro.co.uk: ‘I was meant to be going to New York for a job for two months, and I’m just enjoying the fact that I’m still home and still with Alex otherwise I would have been away. ‘Could you imagine if I got stuck there?
