Rumours have been swirling around what will happened to the upcoming series of Love Island due to the coronavirus pandemic. It was recently claimed the hit ITV2 dating show would relocate from sun-drenched Majorca to a location closer to home as the current Covid-19 travel ban restricts non-essential travel abroad.
However, the claims of a London-based Love Island have been vetoed as it has now been reported filming will take place in the luxurious Majorcan bolthole for the 2020 series.
But there will be a change to the schedule, as the show, which usually kicks off in June, has been pushed back until the end of August or the start of September due to coronavirus, The Sun reported.
