More than 12,000 people have submitted applications in a hope to bag a place on the summer series. The production team of the ITV2 show have had to draft in extra staff to help interview potential candidates.
Wannabe islanders will be interviewed over the web conferencing app Zoom in the coming weeks. But don’t worry, if you haven’t submitted your application yet there is still time.
