When M&S announced it was releasing a £35 food 'essentials' box, shoppers were divided. While some thought it was a brilliant idea, others believed the box, which contains treats like chocolate and Percy Pigs alongside store cupboard basics, had too many 'sugary' items inside.
To find out if the box is really worth the money, one shopper decided to order one for herself. Jenny Amphlett chose the meat eaters' box priced at £35 plus £3.99 for home delivery via courier, reports Stoke On Trent Live.
Jenny ordered her box on Tuesday and received an email saying that it would be delivered three days later, on the Friday. It didn't actually turn up until three days after that, on the morning of the following Monday.
