A man who allegedly spat at London railway worker Belly Mujinga two weeks before she died of coronavirus will face no charges.
Mrs Mujinga, 47, died with Covid-19 in April, around two weeks after allegedly being spat at by a man who claimed to have the virus at London's Victoria station.
She left behind her husband and an 11-year-old daughter after passing away at a hospital in Barnet, north London. Now the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has now said the suspect will not be charged over the death, or with assault or public order offences.
British Transport Police (BTP) interviewed a 57-year-old man over the incident but said there was not enough evidence a crime had taken place, following a review of statements from key witnesses,
