Manchester City are set to roll out mass Covid-19 tests after closing their training ground. Pep Guardiola’s men were looking to build on three consecutive victories in all competitions during their clash against Everton on Monday evening, but the Premier League agreed for the match to be postponed.
The club have since reported that a number of postive cases were returned in their latest round of testing - on top of the four that were discovered on Christmas Day, which included two staff members.Daily Star Sport understand that in addition to Kyle Walker and Gabriel Jesus, there have been at least five more postive cases among the playing squad.
