Manchester City believe the Covid-19 outbreak which has forced them to postpone their trip to Everton can be traced back to a London hotel they stayed in last week, according to reports.City asked the Premier League to put their clash with the Toffees on hold when another five of their players tested positive for coronavirus, just a few days after Kyle Walker, Gabriel Jesus and two members of staff did the same. That means nine of their personnel will now be undergoing self-isolation periods, which could lead to the Premier League also postponing their meeting with Chelsea on January 3.According to talkSPORT, City are convinced the Covid-19 outbreak stems from a London hotel they stayed in ahead of last week’s Carabao Cup quarter-final.
