Manchester United are prepared to fork out £6million to reimburse season ticket holders should the rest of the season be cancelled or played behind closed doors.

English football has been put on hold until at least April 30 amid the coronavirus pandemic, which has affected close to 450,000 people worldwide.

Games are likely to be played behind closed doors when it does restart due to health and safety concerns, meaning thousands of season ticket holders will be out of pocket.
