Manchester United are still working on prospective deals ahead of the transfer window opening in just over two months. Despite the indefinite hiatus of European football due to the coronavirus pandemic, the MEN understands United are continuing negotiations with clubs and representatives of potential signings.
The MEN revealed United had stepped up their pursuit of Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish in February, having shortlisted him among their playmaker targets.
United are believed to have already had an approach for Grealish rejected. Grealish, 24, expressed his 'embarrassment' at being pictured at the scene of a car accident on Sunday, having urged followers to 'stay at home' amid the coronavirus lockdown.
