Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

PIERS Morgan furiously slammed Premier League footballer Jack Grealish on Good Morning Britain today after the sportsman reportedly spent the night partying amid the coronavirus lockdown.

The Aston Villa captain, 24,was pictured looking unsteady after crashing his £80,000 Range Rover into three parked cars at 8am yesterday.

It has been claimed he spent the night partying at a pal's flat. Holding up today's copy of The Sun, which has the story on the front page, Piers called the star "selfish and reckless".

He said: "Another day, another day of idiots. "What are you thinking Jack? What happened to your little guidance? Doesn't help when an England star, a role model, does that.
