NEW DELHI: India added 16,464 fresh coronavirus infections over the past 24 hours, pushing up the active caseload to 1,43,989, and the total case tally till date to 4,40,36,27, according to data released by the Union health ministry on Monday. Death toll climbed to 5,26,396 with 24 new fatalities, as per the data.

PHILADELPHIA - An investigation is underway after police say a 5-year-old boy was found critically injured and bleeding after falling in Fishtown Saturday evening.Officers responded to a person screaming on East Girard Avenue around 4:48 p.m. when they reportedly found the boy on the ground.Police say he was bleeding from the nose and mouth.The boy was transported to Jefferson Hospital, where he is said to be in critical condition.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.J. - A fatal shooting is under investigating after it ended with a car crashing into a home early Sunday morning.Police say the shooting happened around midnight on the 1100 block of East Elmer Road in Cumberland County.The victim died as a result of the shooting, according to police.A car also reportedly crashed into a home nearby where the shooting took place.The identity of the victim has to be released, and no information regarding a motive was given.The shooting is under investigation.

Covid-19: The country's active caseload currently stands at 1,43,676.  Covid-19 cases in India witnessed a marginal dip on Sunday with the country recording 19,673 fresh infections in the past 24 hours. DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - New bodycam video shows the immediate moments after a driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed through a toll booth at Daytona Beach, before driving across the beach and coming to a stop at the edge of the ocean.
