Mary-Kate Olsen’s emergency petition for divorce from her husband Olivier Sarkozy has been denied by the court. The actress had sought the emergency order to protect her property amid their divorce, after Olivier allegedly served notice on their apartment without letting her know.
Mary-Kate had appealed to the court for the emergency filing after she was told to remove her belongings from the apartment by 18 May, something she was unable to do due to the restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic in New York.
However, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Michael Katz ruled that it wasn’t an essential matter, denying her proposal. New York courts spokesman Lucian Chalfen confirmed the news, telling E!: ‘The original filing was rejected
