Masks for Scotland have thanked organisers of livestream event 'For the Love of Scotland' for helping them reach their £200,000 target to provide PPE to NHS staff across Scotland.The event which streamed last night, was hosted by Edith Bowman where she was joined by some of Scotland’s biggest names in film, music, literature, comedy and the arts to raise money for fundraising initiative Masks for Scotland during the coronavirus pandemic.

Over the course of the almost four-hour livestream, the show generated over £43,000 in donations from around the world and today the charity are delighted to announce that they have now reached their target of £200,000.The Masks for Scotland appeal was founded earlier this month by Professor Jill Belch of
