Glastonbury not quite going to plan, thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.Lockdown restrictions and the uncertainty of the virus led to Glastonbury organisers making the heartbreaking decision to cancel this year’s festival.2020 marks the 50th anniversary of Glastonbury, but Worthy Farm was looking very different on what would have been the festival’s opening day.
Still, Glastonbury co-creator Michael didn’t let the cancellation dampen his spirits as he flashed a smile while surveying his empty farmland on Wednesday.
He seemed in good spirits and threw his arms up in the air while posing alongside his red tractor. Noticeably absent was the festival’s usual setup and iconic Pyramid stage, as Michael stood in front of lonely-looking empty.
