Missing NHS nurse, 26, 'found dead 300 yards from home' after vanishing nine days ago

A body has been found 300 yards from the home of a missing NHS nurse, who vanished nine days ago. Mum-of-two Cassandra Pyatt, 26, known as Cassie, was last seen at her home in Coventry, on March 10.

Her disappearance was described as "totally out of character" by her family who were said to have been "extremely worried". West Midlands Police confirmed yesterday that a body, believed to be that of Cassandra, a healthcare assistant at Coventry's University Hospital, had been found in a nearby road.
