Desperate NHS nurses battling coronavirus on the frontline said they have been forced to make face masks out of laminate and elastic bands.
Medical staff in hospitals across the country have came forward to say that person protective equipment (PPE) was either not arriving or has not come soon enough.
Nurses at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals claimed they were forced to make protective visors from sheets of laminate held together with rubber bands after being left without the essential equipment.
Outraged union member Gary Palmer told local media: "Is this how we expect those risking their lives in the face of a pandemic to be treated - front line nursing staff being forced to make their own PPE to protect themselves?" Follow all
