A Peruvian model has been sentenced to 15 months of house arrest for throwing a boozy party at her home during the coronavirus lockdown, it has been reported.

Shirley Arica, 28, was arrested at her home in the Peruvian capital Lima after reportedly throwing a rowdy party during lockdown with loud music and alcohol.

The curvy Latin model has been sentenced to 15 months of house arrest and she cannot leave her home during that period without authorisation from the court, according to local media.

Reports said that the police arrived at her house at around 11pm after neighbours complained about the noisy gathering. Arica was found with three friends who have been sentenced to 12 months of house arrest as well as a fine, according to reports.
