MOM and A Cinderella Story actress Mary Pat Gleason died on Tuesday night at the age of 70. She passed away after a battle with cancer, with her friend and Watchmen actor Ron Fassler revealing the sad news on social media on Wednesday.
Mary, who played rollerskating waitress Eleanor in the classic Hilary Duff teen flick A Cinderella Story in 2004, had 40 years of acting experience under her belt, with close to 200 film and TV credits.
Most recently, she recurred as Mary on CBS’ Mom, opposite Anna Faris and Allison Janney, but her last episode of the series aired late last year when her character died suddenly.
