A Co Monaghan Transition Year class due to stage a production of the famous musical Les Miserables this week has come together for a virtual performance.

The students from St Macartan's College were due to go on stage last night, but due to the coronavirus pandemic they had to cancel their production.

He said the students started rehearsals in September and have continued in recent weeks to practise online through various social media apps.
